We are committed to addressing critical social, economic, and environmental challenges by focusing on areas that create lasting impact and foster resilience among underserved populations.

Our Strategic Development Services are tailored to meet the pressing needs of communities across West, Central, and East Africa. These services reflect our dedication to delivering innovative, inclusive, and sustainable solutions. Below are the key areas where ICODEH is making a difference:

1. Poverty Alleviation:

  • Impact: Supported over 3,754 orphans with financial aid, medical care, and educational support.
  • Strategies: Collaborates with various international donors and partners to address social and economic inequalities.

2. Education:

  • Initiatives: Constructed 255 school blocks across underserved communities. 
  • Support: Provides allowances for needy students, including those in tertiary institutions.

3. Healthcare:

  • Facilities: Built two clinics with support from international partners.
  • Mobile Services: Operates the “Medical Caravan” to deliver healthcare services to remote areas.

4. Water and Sanitation:

Infrastructure: Installed 2,000 wells and boreholes to improve access to clean drinking water and reduce waterborne diseases.

5. Women Empowerment

Initiated community-led loan schemes for women to engage in small-scale projects such as palm oil plantation, bakery, and sewing.

6. Youth Empowerment

Develops leadership and vocational training programs to equip young people with skills for self-employment and societal contribution.

7. Gender Equality

Advocates for equal opportunities for men and women in education, employment, and leadership, supporting the global movement toward gender parity.

8. Climate Change

Implements climate adaptation and mitigation strategies, including awareness campaigns, promoting renewable energy, and sustainable environmental practices.

9. Peace Building

Facilitates peacebuilding initiatives in communities affected by conflict, advocating for dialogue and understanding to foster peaceful coexistence.

10. Interreligious Dialogue

Promotes peaceful interaction and understanding between different religious communities to foster harmony and social cohesion.

11. Agriculture & Reforestation

Encourages sustainable farming techniques and tree planting to restore ecosystems, support livelihoods, and combat deforestation.

12. Capacity Building

Enhances the capabilities of local Islamic organizations, grassroots developmental organizations, and civil society organizations through training and resources.

13. Financial Support for Small Grant Projects

Provides financial assistance for small grant projects at the grassroots level to empower local communities and foster sustainable development.

14. Research on Religious and Developmental Challenges

Conducts research on socio-economic challenges faced by communities, analyzing the intersections of religion, development, and social issues to inform programming and advocacy.

15. Community Development

  • Religious Facilities: Constructed 1,511 mosques across Ghana.
  • Support: Provides food items for Ramadan and major Islamic festivals.

16. International Collaboration

  • Partners: Works with organizations including Dubai Charity, Kuwait Zakat House, World Islamic League, and others.
  • Global Reach: Extends humanitarian efforts across West Africa and collaborates with global donors.
