Clinics

Clinics are more than just healthcare facilities; they are lifelines that bring essential medical care to communities. They serve as accessible, local hubs where individuals can receive the treatment they need, from routine check-ups to urgent care. Clinics provide not only medical attention but also crucial health education, advice, and support that empower people to take control of their well-being. Whether it's treating an illness, offering preventative care, or providing emotional support, each visit to a clinic brings hope and healing closer to the people who need it most. By bringing healthcare closer to communities, we ensure that better health is within reach for everyone.

How did this come to our attention?

During our community visits, we discovered that many underserved areas lacked access to basic healthcare facilities. People in these communities often had to travel long distances to receive medical attention, and in emergencies, this delay could mean the difference between life and death.

We also observed that preventable illnesses were widespread due to a lack of regular health check-ups and immediate care. Recognizing the urgent need for accessible healthcare, we initiated our clinic-building projects to bring quality medical services closer to the people who need them most.

Access to healthcare is not a privilege but a basic human right; our clinics bring care closer to communities.

How do you decide where to build clinics?

We conduct thorough need assessments to identify communities with limited or no access to healthcare facilities. Priority is given to the most underserved areas.

How does ICODEHS ensure the sustainability of these clinics?

We collaborate with local health authorities and train community members to manage the clinics. This ensures they remain operational and self-sufficient in the long term.

Can the clinics handle emergencies?

While our clinics are primarily designed for basic healthcare, they are equipped to handle common emergencies and provide referrals to larger hospitals when necessary.

What types of services are offered in these clinics?

Our clinics typically provide general medical care, maternal and child health services, immunizations, treatment for common illnesses, and health education.

Are the services in these clinics free?

In most cases, services are provided free of charge or at highly subsidized rates, depending on the resources and partnerships in place.

Do the clinics employ local healthcare professionals?
